Due scale di rappresentazione molto distanti tra loro che hanno l’obiettivo di raccontare e pensare il territorio di Monza e della Brianza attraverso due diversi approcci al progetto e due differenti categorie di manufatti.
Esplorare e rappresentare la complessità di un territorio esteso e denso da un lato attraverso la creazione di "mappe", non solo intese come semplici restituzioni cartografiche ma anche come atlanti mentali, mappe psicogeografiche, indagini sul campo… dall’altro, cambiare repentinamente non solo la scala, ma anche i modi e gli strumenti per pensare e progettare, realizzando oggetti, modelli in scala o prototipi, capaci di reinterpretare e restituire la molteplicità dei diversi temi che il territorio suggerisce: l’abitare, il viaggiare, la densità, la natura, ecc.

Two different scales of representation with the aim to describe and to think the territories of Monza and Brianza through two different approaches to the project and two different categories of handworks.
On one side to explore and to represent the complexity of a widespread and dense area through the creation of "maps", not intended just as cartographic representations, but also mental atlas, psychogeographic drawings, investigations and surveys… on the other end, to suddenly change not only the scale but also the methods and the instruments to think and to project, making objects, scale models and/or prototypes, able to reinterpret, to record and to report the different themes suggested by the territory: living, travelling, the nature, the density, etc.
